Clarinet Section's Chalet

Ever wondered why its called chalet and not cheley as it is prounced? Hmmm. . . I have no ideal too.

The Singapore Polytechnic's Clarinet Sections' chalet was held at Aloha Loyang, Chalet 14 just ended.

The people had fun, I hope; cos all i did was to sleep, because i was both physically and mentally tired. All they did was to play poker cards, majong, Chat, etc.

On the 1st night, I fell asleep at 3am after washing all the plates and pots and pans and cultary and wad ever. pior to that, I had some majong and card games with WenShao, Vincent and HuiYing, I learnt; or rather, relearnt how to play bridge with the poker. The supper; or was it dinner? was steam boat. I ate very little. then went to sleep. Slept on the same bed with Chun Meng who slept very early; as early as 11pm; due to the military regimental lifestyle ba. haha.

Woke up at 8am to get ready to go to church. but was late cos i waited for Fabian. arrived in chuch at 10.15am. I stayed in Church till 1pm. Then went to my granny's house to have lunch; then went Ikea with my mom to buy a vase. After buying, my dad came to drive us to fetch my uncle John back to church for another meeting. I stayed till 6pm, then i took Bus 65 to Tampines and took a cab to Pasir Ris's Aloha Loyang; $9.20. So expensive.

Once I arrived there. they were already trying to start the fire for the bbq. I dunno how to start bbq fire. So i stood around. YokeChong and WenShao were responsible for starting the fire while HuiYing and LiMing assisted them. JunHao helped too. In the end, they got their faces and limbs blackened due to playing with charcoals.

Not long after the rain came. and there wasn't enough firestarter, YY went to buy some while Alicia attempeted to fry chicken wings, YokeChong went to Microwave them while i attempeted to boil the Chicken Wings in OysterSauce.

YokeChong's Experiment was 1st to be successful. Alicia's Frying became successful too. HuiYing later took over the boiling and proceeded to fry more Chicken Wings. Joan and Alicia said the chicken I fried smelled very nice. but after I tried to eat them, they were 90% cooked only. Regadless, I ate them and shared with Fabian.

Later I Micowaved more Chicken Wings and shared with Mabel and JunHao. *Oishi* I also Microwaved Chicken Franks; hotdogs and CrabSticks. Mabel's BF came to pick her up and she left at around midnight.

Played more majong. and watched Television with the rest. Fabian went Swimming alone; in a diving suit. haha. after he came back, I went with him Swim till 2am. We chatted about life and everything under the sun; I mean moon. I helped wash the plates and cups and stuff before I went to sleep. I heard the rest got drunk and stuff. haha. drinking volka never wake me up. arrrgh. =)
