Ever wondered what would happen if many marvel super heroes are in one show; other than X-man(Marvel Comics) and Justice League(DC Universe)?
If you still didn't know, Marvel will be releasing, Ironman The Movie (already Released) followed by-> The Incredible Hulk Then -> Thor The Movie, then -> The Captain America Movie
And the finale after these 4 movies will be....... THE AVENGERS Movie.
So lets wait, it'll take a few years. It's all already announced.
At the mean time, take a peak at this awesome video! Spider Man teams up with Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk verses the attacking cylons. The animation is good and the CG effects are great. It's just really cool to watch. I watched twice and I am watching again!!!

Blogger Name Cards!!!
I saw how Jayden made his blogger name cards. . . They were absolutely gorgeous lah. So I took his idea and made my own.
Jayden used Internet Explorer and Safari whereas I used FireFox to make for my CCA blog. I got to admit, I am not rich, never send it to the professional printing company, i used my company's Color Lazer Printer to print these myself. Then I used penknife to cut the edges.
Going to give them to my juniors when I see them. Cool rite? Next up, Namecards for my blog. Thinking of a theme now. . . something emo it think. haha

ERP in operation
Congratulations to Singapore for Her recent win; Pedra Branca aka Horseburg Lighthouse. But let me 1st give you some quick information on ERP.
Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) is an electronic system of road pricing based on a pay-as-you-use principle in Singapore. It is designed to be a fair system as motorists are charged when they use the road during peak hours by Cash Card. Sea Route in this situation.
The picture should be self explanatory. Might happen in near future. =P

Attack of the MRT Auntie
Okae, i maybe Slow or wolS, but according to the owner of the video:
If this is someone you know, please contact her family and get her some help.
Don't ask me why, this auntie suddenly scold random vulgarity which including mother ****er, knnccb and etc. I pity her; she needs help badly.
For those who are clueless, I don't know this auntie. This is just a simple case of a crazy woman attack a random passer by. I just happened to be unlucky that night. Before judging on me, please try to understand what's going on first.
This happen at around 11pm at Clarke Quay MRT station where I was walking towards the station to get home. This woman follow from behind and disturbing me along the way. All her words are hurtful and insulting but I just ignore her as I realise she must have some mental problems. (Why bother reasoning with a crazy person?)
When I reach the gantry, she spited at me. That's where I start to get a little pissed off, I may not be a saint, but I won't resolves to violent. If I punch her, I would be the one in the wrong instead.
I have to take this video down so as to protect myself. I need some evidence if things get ugly. Who knows what the auntie might do next? Fortunately she didn't climb over or do anything worst. She seems to know some shame too, that's why she cover up her face and make her retreat.
But I tell you, the auntie IS violent, you could see what she tries to do with her slipper.
The ending part is probably the childish side of me. But can't an angry man let off some steam? If you are in my shoe, being insulted, spited at, you might take a different approach to solve the situation, but would you have the leisure of time to plan your solutions?
Lastly, I had enough of clueless idiots jumping into conclusion, so no more comments for you guys.
The Auntie must be crazy. Best part of the Video is, "auntie no more already ah?" haha
Sg basher grow up please!
It appears that someone, hates Singapore to the core. . .

You guys should go and take a look at his posts. according to Marc, who discovered the shocking revelation, he revealed that author of fcuksingapore is a M'sian
I was shocked while reading some of the posts. Most of them are quite political while other posts are just purely anti-Sg. The fact is that Singapore didn't rob Malaysia of Pedra Blanca. Singapore gained gain sovereignty over the rocks and was given authority over it by the International Court of Justice (ICJ). The case is already all over, and yet the author of fcuksingapore is making a mountain out of a mole hill. Malaysia agreed to settle the case with Singapore at the ICJ, and also agreed to accept what ever judgment which proceeded after the judging.
So, what is the motion? There is none, because your leaders already accepted the fact of the ruling. Why continue to cry over spilled milk. There goes a saying, empty vessels makes the most noise. I guess, author of fcuksingapore is one of em'. and if you really want to know what is going on in Malaysia, read this. Author of Shiokguy is more of an academic and more enlightening than of silly fcuksingapore's blog.

No petrol sales to foreign cars; Malaysia border towns
M'SIA GOVT BANS SALE OF FUEL TO FOREIGN CARS THIS FRIDAYKUALA LUMPUR, May 26 (Bernama) -- The government has decided to ban all petrol stations at the country's borders from selling petrol and diesel to foreign cars beginning Friday.
Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Shahrir Samad said at the Malaysia-Thailand border, the ban involved petrol stations that were 30-50km from the border.
He said the ban covered Perlis, Kedah, North Perak, Kelantan and several districts in Johor including Kulai and Johor Baharu. "A written directive regarding the ban under the Control of Supplies Act 1961 will be issued to 200-300 petrol station operators in the near future," Shahrir told reporters at the Parliament lobby after attending a meeting of the Cabinet Committee On Inflation at Parliament House.
The meeting was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak. He said the ban would be in force until his ministry could determine an appropriate subsidy management system to block "optimistic" buying and selling. "This move is a stern act by the government to reduce the leak in subsidy that involved high cost and which should actually be enjoyed by the lower-income group in the country.

After the ban takes place, it is no doubt that there will be a decline in tourist who drive into Malaysia from Singapore and Thailand. Without Oil; which is one of the biggest attraction for it's neighbors, economy gradually will decline for the tourism industry.
What if foreign drivers experienced a shortage of petrol while traveling at one of Malaysia's border towns? Alight and wait for a tow? Or just be left stranded in a foreign land? Drivers should keep a petrol canisters in their boot, so that they can walk to the kiosk to purchase petrol from their petrol canisters.
With rising oil and petrol prices, I believe that in the long run, petrol will be beyond the rich of the less wealthy and the middle class. But on the bright side, i foresee less cars on the road and lesser pollution.
To all car owners out there, if you cannot afford to maintain a car, please do not drive one and help save the EARTH and stop choking the roads.

Rich Dad Poor Dad? Think again.
Have you ever seen people reading this book "Rich Dad Poor Dad" while traveling on the train or on the bus? well, i am sure, this is not an uncommon sight. More and more people have begun to read this book.
A quick search with my good friend, Google.com, reveals that the book is currently No. 1 on the New York Times paperback "advice" chart for more than 5 years. Spin offs, including Rich Dad's Guide to Investing and Rich Kid, Smart Kid, also seems to be selling. Obviously there are many, many advice books on the market, financially focused and otherwise, but only a handful turn into franchises. So, why this one?Published in 1997 then republished in 2001, this book has been around for more than 8 years. And still going popular amongst youths to middle aged men who want to get rich. But then again, can a book written way back before the millennium year of the y2k bug still be quoted and be used in the present times? I highly beg to differ.
It was reported that Kiyosaki, the author is primarily a creature of Amway (now known as Quixtar) and other multi-level marketing organizations. Reportedly, his books were not selling until he allied himself with that crowd. Then the volume of sales to those MLM guys made him a “best-selling author,” which caused normal non-MLM people to think the book must be good.
The book preaches fabled like presentation of personal success stories, wrapped in the mantle of "education". The parable format is particularly popular these days and has helped other books like "Who Moved My Cheese?" and "Fish". The twist in this case is the blurring of parable and what appears to be autobiography. But think again, autobiography or how to get-rich-book, Poor Dad or Rich Dad won't be so popular unless people buys and read them. However much money the author, Mr Kiyosaki did or didn't make in the past, he's making a fortune by selling the idea that he holds the key to your financial future.
Having sold more than 2 million copies since May 2000 in the United States alone; it's also been translated into other languages and has probably sold 10 times that amount worldwide, I am sure the readers have made the author richer, not by his expertise as stated in the book but by publishing more of these "self help; get-rich-quick" books. It was reported that many people, having read these books, are still in the rat race, and are not doing well. Many are usually still lost as they do not know where or how to proceed even reading all these books.
I am not bashing the book, but just expressing my thoughts, because, you can expect worse vocabularies if I were bashing. Please think twice before purchasing the book or at least, read from a skeptic's point of view. But at least, I am sure, never am I reading such useless books,
Face it, Neither you won't be able to get rich, nor will you be poor in Singapore, unless your last name is L e e. Its a dog eat dog world out there and I personally feel that being down to earth is more important. Btw, I am an anti-MLM person, Its appreciated for u to keep your distance away from me, if you are MLM, or face my wrath.

WaKaRu. Nice
Arranged to meet at City Hall Mrt Control Station at 7.30pm. JingTing turned up 1st, followed by aaron and subsequently JunRong. Then we waited for boonhua until can die. At 7.30pm, He rang me up to say, he arrived. I told him to wait at the Control Station for me without asking which station he was in; to pick him up as we were at rafless City shopping center.
When i arrived at the MRT station, I think i gave him more than 20 miss calls, and he still didn't pick up the bloddy damn phone. Then I thought i gave him bad instructions and thought he waited at Raffles Place Mrt instead of City Hall, hence I took a traini 1 stop down to Raffles Place to see if he is there. To my dismay, he wasn't. Then had to ask Junrong and the others to help look out for him in City Hall Station. When Boonhua finally picked up my call, He was at City Hall station's other exit. I had to take a train back from Raffles Place to City Hall.
Anyway, We walked from City Hall Mrt to Clark Quay Mrt. Initally wanted to go settlers to play board game and have dinner there. But after the long walk, we finally reach there after many nonsense from Junrong and JingTing who insisted to go settlers, but the settlers cafe was already full house when we found the place. No choice, I quickly suggested to go to centro which is across the road.
Then we had our dinner at 8.30Pm at wakaru.

Dinner was fabulous. But abit pricey.
After Dinner; BoonHua went home while the rest of us went to eski-bar to chill @ boat quay. Freaking Cold there. I then treated them to a drink. JingTing had "Chocolate Matini", Aaron Had "RustyNail", JunRong had an "E-Avalache", while I had a "sex on the beach". Its Fun to meet up with friends. Although I am broke now, but lets meet again soon?

like the movies. . .

"两个人上车,为什么三个人会下车呢?"asks my dad.
Dad was just sharing that a Malay couple; pregnant lady and her husband got into his taxi on Sunday 18Th May 2008, then directed him to drive to Singapore General Hospital (SGH) as the wife was about to be in labour. On the way, the lady gave birth in the taxi as the baby's legs popped out already, and in the next few moments, the body, then the head followed.
The lady's husband was frantic, knowing not what to do, He kept asking my dad what to do. My dad told him to take off his shirt to wrap the baby.
The baby was crying and the newborn's father hurried my dad to go to SGH as soon as possible. But due to the distance of SGH, my dad told him, that He will drive to KK hospital instead.
As soon as they arrived KK Hospital, my dad got off the taxi and went to ask nurses to come to attend to the newborn child; cut the umbilical cord and stuff.
After they left the car, my dad drove off. Ever thought what would be on the birth certificate for the blank: Place of Birth? Maybe my dad's taxi.
Anyway, my dad picked up the same couple again on 19Th May 2008, without realizing it's the same couple He drove and witness the birth of their new born, But the newborn's Father recognized my dad immediately and Thanked my dad, gave my dad some money (taxi fare, cos they forgot to pay the other day).
BTW, the lady told my dad its her 5th child thus far. Amazing isn't it? Witnessing birth in a taxi and meeting the couple again? Just like the movies.
人生就是八个字:生老病死,喜怒哀乐!but whether good or bad; Thank God.

Mourn-days
China has begun three days of mourning for victims of the Si Chuan earthquake, which has left more than 70,000 people dead, buried under rubble or missing.Photos Courtesy from BBC.com
Public Holiday, It's Vesak Day. While many Buddhist devotees pay homage to Buddha, One week had passed since the Earthquake in China. Thank God, my parents were back; safe and sound since 15Th May 2008, 6.30am. They did not visit SiChuan nor ChengDu.
As reported on the news, more than 71,000 people are dead, buried or missing following last Monday's 7.9 magnitude quake, China's state media say. More than 220,000 people were injured. Tears fills my eyes every time i see news reports on China's earthquake.
In Chengdu, the provincial capital, people held hands to observe a three-minute silence in honor of the victims.

Its Mourn-day Monday, at China. While the Chinese Government declares a 3 day mourning period for the whole of China, the whole Chinese state came to a halt at 1428 local time (0628 GMT), people across the country fell silent for three minutes as air-raid sirens and car horns wailed. I was simply touched when i saw these images on the news and tears started to trickle down.

Fragile Lives

Above picture depicts the current state in Si Chuan Province of China. Houses collapsed and people out in the open; outside the hospitals (can u imagine how cold is it in China). Doctors and Nurses rushing to save lives. Even the Chinese temple was not spared from the Earthquake.
(Viewer Discretion Advised: Not for the weak heart-ed)
Bodies found from the aftermath of the earthquake were left lying on the streets. People crying for their loved ones. Mostly found under the rubble are children and students.I really feel for them. Maybe its because, I am a Chinese too. Let the dead rest in peace, and may the living find strength to live through this ordeal. Hope that they are able to pick themselves up and go on...
On the same note, I feel that Singaporeans are taking it for granted that we are such a 'peaceful' city. We should all be ready and vigilant; in-case something happens. Natural disasters are not something which can be helped.
There is still no news from my parents, but by right, they should be back by today or tomorrow tentatively. Please continue to pray for their safety in China.
Post-blogging note: posted this in office. Supervisor is on MC.

A Tribute to Deborah de Souza
Well-known 938Live presenter Deborah de Souza (picture), 37, died yesterday after a short battle with stomach cancer..According to her mother Rita de Souza, the former host of Body and Soul had been diagnosed with the disease after a continued bout of gastric problems. "We didn't know at the beginning because stomach cancer has no symptoms," said Mrs de Souza..The news of her death came as a shock to some of her colleagues who said she was well known for her cheerful laugh and personality. She was also a capable and well-respected presenter with a passion for her work- and health-related issues..Equally at home with live programmes and packaged ones, Ms de Souza was not only a commentator for the National Day Parade but also did a series of stories on vanishing trades in Singapore that was so well received that it was produced into a CD..Ms de Souza, who had shunned conventional chemotherapy and surgery in favour of alternative treatment, found out about her condition in January. By February condition in January. By February, the cancer had spread, said her mother. But she kept her spirits up throughout her ordeal..Ms Gerardine Tan, senior programme director at 938LIVE, who was both a colleague and childhood friend, said: "When she was diagnosed, she was at peace. She said this was God's plan."

I saw this news while traveling to work this morning, peeping behind some other commuters who are reading the Today paper. It just reminds me how fragile and impermanent of lives are.. I got a shock hearing MC King passed away recently, now another has left us... 938 live was one of the few radio stations i used listen too other than Class 95FM and Symphony 92.4FM.
I Really would miss her and her voice. Deborah, you will be missed by many.
I had lunch today with MeeLin and Gregory at Sushi Teh, Holland Village. I had this wonderful sashimi salad and Authentic Japanese Curry Udon, while Greg had Salmon Skins and some Katsu Rice. MeeLin had her Sushis and more sushis. Unfortunately, i couldn't finish my Curry Udon, hence Greg and MeeLin helpped me eat. =)
While I still didn't manage to solve the FTP server using Virtual Users in Linux OS, I managed to complete other tasks given to me. I was awarded 'B' for Conduct and 'C' for Performance. =( GPA dropping soon.
